Second stage of APIDT IPv4 address space disposal now open for tenders

10 August 2020

The Asia Pacific Internet Development Trust (APIDT) today opened the second stage of its IPv4 address space disposal following the successful completion of Stage 1.

As previously announced, the Trust intends to sell its address holdings (43.128/10, and 43.192/11) in separate stages via a ‘Sale by Tender’ process.  The Request for Tender document, Tender Response Form, and Standard IPv4 Address Space Transfer Agreement are now available with the opening of Stage 2.

In Stage 2, the block of address space being sold will be subdivided into smaller blocks. Tenders may be submitted for one or more (or all) of these blocks:

Stage 2: 43.128/10        Block Size: /14              Number of blocks: 16

Stage 2 will close on 31 August 2020 at 17:00 (UTC+10).  Successful tenders will be shortlisted thereafter and it is expected that transfers will be completed by the end of September 2020.

International consulting firm, KPMG, and legal firm, Maddocks, were commissioned by APIDT to advise on the design of the sale process, to assess tenders in line with the agreed criteria, and to manage the tender stages.
